Gaining “Management” Experience Vol.1/en
The “management” that will be mentioned in this article and the following articles is about people management, and I will talk about the management styles and techniques that you will mostly use in business life.
In short, let me tell you why I felt the need to write an article about this management issue, since it will be my first post on this platform. In general, I see deficiencies and mistakes related to management in the business world and in our private life, and unfortunately, I observe the inevitable individual failures and unhappiness in the people who are managed (I will talk about it in more detailed from time to time in my articles about my observations).
There are many ways to gain experience in management, and if you really want to improve yourself in this process, it will be very beneficial for you to acquire some new habits in your life.
1.By observing your surroundings and yourself, you can gain knowledge and experiences that you cannot find in books or trainings, this habit is one of the most tiring but most beneficial habits, as you will use it both in your private life and in your business life.
So what should we observe here?
It would not be right to give a clear answer because there are so many points that you can observe, for example: What kind of feelings did a behavior you make arouse in the other party, how did the other party manage to get you to do what they wanted, how did I manage to impress ‘x’ people that day? …
2.You need to read a lot of articles and watch a lot of videos about human psychology, body language, management and leadership styles of successful leaders etc. In short, you need to include gaining knowledge in your daily routine and make it a habit, and this will take you to a higher level day by day without even that you realize it.
3.In general, paying close attention to your “character” and making an effort to set standards and acquire values that we call good, will make you a more successful manager/leader. As you know, values have a very important place in the business world, and an authentic manager/leader with decent values is always 1–0 ahead. (Ex.: You have a company and you want the company values to be taken into account and respected more, the best step for this is to check that you comply with these values first, in short, “managed ones are the reflection of the managers”.)
4.You have to get into the habit of learning lessons from every event, the day of managers and leaders is not always full of successes, even most of them are full of “failures”, the important thing is not to succumb to these failures instead to learn lessons, you should ask questions such as what can I do better next time, where did I develop myself poorly? From my own experience, I must say, my most successful days have come after my most unsuccessful ones. In short, let challenges be your best friend.
As you can see in the title, it is an article named (Gaining “Management” Experience Vol.1), because it is a very detailed and comprehensive subject, I did not want to finish this subject in a single article and make it difficult to read.
At the end of each of my articles, I would like to leave a note that you will see in the future as well, this note is one of the most missing and most valuable elements in our world, which will make you more successful, apart from everything else in your business life and private life.
